Hekima Insurance provides comprehensive financial protection for employees’ families and dependents. Coverage is offered in the event of the life assured's death during the policy term, permanent disability or invalidity, critical illness, and includes coverage for the death of one spouse and up to four children.
Key Features of the Hekima Insurance Package:
- One-year renewable policy term
- Lump sum payment of the sum assured
- Includes death benefits
- Optional savings benefit
- Premiums calculated based on the average age of members (minimum 0.6% of the sum assured)
- Premiums are non-refundable
Eligibility and Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 members per group
- Available to all employees or groups of individuals with an insurable interest and the financial capacity to purchase the product
Terms
- Cover begins once payment is complete and the certificate is issued.
- Claims are settled in line with the terms of your policy.
- NIC is registered and regulated by the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA).
